Setting Up Alternative Line IDs (continued)
Setting the Calling / Answering Party Number for the Extension
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 173):
4) Enter 07-06-XXX-02 (where XXX represents the appropriate table row number: 001~ 100).
5) Press save to display the Number screen.
6) Press show to display the current setting.
• The default is EMPTY.
7) Press chg.
8) Enter the Number (e.g., 555-3514) to be sent to the Digital Trunk as Calling / Answering Party Number for
the extension when Alternate Line ID Index is programmed at the extension (using digits 0-9).
9) Press save to store the setting.
10) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
