Setting the Clock Mode:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 167):
4) Enter 07-04-06.
5) Press save to display the Clock Mode screen.
• Slave is the default setting.
IMPORTANT!
Since slave mode uses the signal from the master and makes sure the incoming
data is synchronized, you will most likely want to leave the system in SLAVE mode.
The master (the CO in this case) mode provides the 8 kHz clock signal.
You can press chg to change the setting to Master mode. However, if you want to
leave the setting at SLAVE, skip to step 6.
6) Press the Hold button to return to the ISDN programming screen.
OR
Press next to display the Translation Table - see “Setting Up the Translation Table” on page 171.
OR
Press next until the Alternate Line ID screen appears - see “Setting Up Alternate Line IDs (ALI) - for Sys-
tems with ISDN (T1/PRI) Installation Only” on page 177.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
