Setting Up the PBX Code and Hunt Method (continued)
SETTING UP THE PBX CODE AND HUNT METHOD VIA THE DET
NOTE
• chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
• You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
Programming PBX Codes for PBX trunk access:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 07-01-0X-01 (where X represents the line group: 1~8).
5) Press save to advance to the PBX Code programming screen for the specified CO line group.
6) Press chg.
7) Enter the PBX code.
• Valid numbers range from 0 to 9999.
• The default is 9.
8) Press save.
9) Press the Volume button (up or down) to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Programming the hunt method (search order) for the selected CO line group:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 07-01-0X-02 (where X represents the line group: 1~8).
5) Press save to advance to the hunting method programming screen for the specified CO line group.
6) Press chg until the order you want to use appears (i.e., SEQL = Sequential Last, SEQF = Sequential First,
or RAN = Random access).
• The default is SEQL.
7) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
