SETTING THE ANSWER POSITION FOR DAY AND EVENING VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
Program the day mode answering positions:
3) Enter 02-XXX-14-01-01 (where XXX is the CO line directory number: 800-839).
4) Press save to display the current Day mode Member 1 Answering Position.
5) Press chg to set the ringing/answering position for the day mode.
6) Enter the directory number for the ringing position (extension: 101-156; UCD: 410-433; or virtual number:
700-729).
• The default is 101.
7) Press save to store your changes.
Program the evening mode answering positions:
8) Enter 02-XXX-14-02 (where XXX is the CO line directory number: 800-839).
9) Press save to display the current Eve mode Answering Position.
10) Press chg to set the ringing/answering position for the evening mode.
11) Enter the directory number for the ringing position (extension, 101-156; UCD, 410-433; or virtual number,
700-729).
• The default is 101.
12) Press save to store your changes.
13) Continue making other programming changes.

Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
