Setting Call Abandon via PC-DBA (continued)
3) Make sure the checkbox ( ) next to Call Abandon is checked to enable the Call Abandon feature ( ).
If it isn’t, click on it to enable the feature.
• Clicking on this box toggles the setting between on/enable (a checkmark ) and off/disable (no
checkmark ).
• The default is on (checkmark ).
When you are finished:
4) Click the Update button to store the settings into the database on the local disk.
• Use the procedure shown above to set the call abandon for other CO lines.
5) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
When you have finished all programming changes:
6) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
SETTING CALL ABANDON VIA THE DET
NOTE
• chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
• You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Enter 02-XXX-09 (where XXX is the CO line directory number [800-839]).
4) Press save to advance to the selected CO line call abandon setting for CO line “XXX.”
5) Press chg repeatedly until the appropriate value (Y/N) displays for this CO line.
6) Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Select screen and enter another CO line.
OR
Press the Hold button to select another CO line you want to program.
7) Enter the CO line number.
8) Press show.
9) Press next to advance through database items until the Call Abandon database item displays.
