Assigning the CO Group via PC-DBA (continued)
3) Select the CO group number you want to assign to this CO line from the C.O. Group field.
• Valid entries are 1 though 8.
• The default is 1.
4) Click the Update button to enter your settings into the database on your local disk.
• Assign C.O. Groups to other C.O. Lines as needed using the steps above.
When all assignments have been made:
5) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
Once all database changes have been completed:
6) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
ASSIGNING THE CO GROUP VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Program your extensions for CO Line Access.
5) Enter 02-XXX-03 (where XXX is the CO line directory number: 800-839).
6) Press save to advance to CO line group for the CO line you specified.
7) Press chg until the CO line group you want to assign displays.
• Valid entries are 1 though 8.
• The default is 1.
8) Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Select screen.
9) Enter another CO line.
OR
Press the Hold button to select another CO line you want to program.
10) Press show.
11) Press next twice to advance to the CO line group programming for the CO line you specified.
When finished programming CO line groups
12) Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Select screen or exit programming.
