Customizing the Numbering Plan via the DET (continued)
Setting Leading 4 through 9:
Use the steps below to specify the appropriate leading digits for extension page groups, extension hunt groups,
extension pickup groups, individual speed dial numbers, and system speed dial numbers
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1-3 on page 110):
4) Enter 08-09-02-04~09.
5) Press save to display the Leading: 3~8.
6) Press chg until the leading digit you want to set appears.
7) Press save to store the setting.
8) Press next to display the next leading setting.
• Repeat steps 4 through 7 in this section for each leading you want to set.
OR
Press the Volume button (up or down) to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
NUMBERING PLAN (PART 2): CO GROUPS
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1-3 on page 110):
4) Enter 08-09-01
5) Press save to display the Numbering Plan - CO Group programming.
6) Press show to enter into CO Group numbering plan programming.
OR
Press next until the numbering plan item you want to program appears on the display.
7) Press show to display the Length parameter.
8) Press chg until the length you want to use appears.
• Valid choices are 1-4.
9) Press next until the leading digit you want to program displays.
10) Press chg to allow an entry into this item.
11) Enter the leading digit(s) you want to assign to this system resource, then press save.
• Leading digits allow you to specify the starting digits of a directory number.
• You can use the leading digit fields to specify a range of numbers (e.g., 74 in a three digit field allows a
range from 740 to 749 and excludes all other numbers).
12) Press next until the next numbering plan item you want to change appears.
• Repeat these steps above for all numbering plan items you want to change.
13) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the Volume button (up or down) to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
