1. Removethe14screwsaxingthetopandboom
coversofrepeater,andremovethecovers(Figure1).
2. Turntherepeaterupsidedown.
3. Referring to Figure 2, removethe upper screw
in either side of the front panel, and loosen the
lowerscrewineithersideofthefrontpanel,then
slidethefrontpanelforwardslightly.
4. Remove thecoaxial cablesconnected to the TX
andRXantennajacksoftherepeater.
5. Install theduplexer intothe compartmenton
the bottom side of the repeater,using the four
screwsandantennacableprovidedinthe
CT-68
Hardware Kit (Figure 3). Some duplexers may
notlineupwiththethreadedmountingholesin
therepeater'schassis.Inthiscase,usethesupple-
mentalmountingbracketssuppliedwiththe
CT-
68
HardwareKit(Figure4).
6. Connect the optionalAntenna Cable
CT-68
be-
tween the TX antenna jack of the repeater and
ANT(center)jackoftheduplexer.
7. If your repeater’s Tx/Rx frequency relationship
is “upper shift” type(TXf >RXf), connect the
coaxialcablefromtheRXUnittotheLOWPASS
jackoftheduplexerandconnectthecoaxialcable
from thePAUnit tothe HIGH PASS jackofthe
duplexer.
If your repeater’s Tx/Rx frequency relationship
is“lowershi”type(TXf<RXf),connecttheco-
axialcable from theRX Unitto theHIGH PASS
jackoftheduplexerandconnectthecoaxialcable
from the PA Unit to the LOW PASS jack of the
duplexer.
:Route the TX coaxial cable from the PA Unit as
far as possible from the RX coaxial cable from the RX
Unit.
8. Duplexer installation is now complete. Replace
the front panel back into place, and replace the
topandboomcovers.
