The Transmit Battery Saver helps extend battery life by
reducingtransmit powerwhen avery strongsignal from
an apparently nearby station is being received. Under
some circumstances, though, your hand-held radio may
notbeheard wellattheother endofthecommunication
path,andhighpowermaybenecessaryatalltimes.
