2. Place the front of the badge you are testing a half inch or closer in front of the test window on the
Badge Tester.
3. The badge condition will be indicated as follows:
• If the badge is good, the tester will beep once, and the green light will illuminate.
• If the battery is low and needs replacing, the tester will beep twice, and the red light
will illuminate.
