Make sure the master switch on the command center is in the “OFF” position. Wait at least ve
(5) minutes before starting maintenance. Refer to Operating Instructions on Page 27.
A qualied agency should examine the venting system annually.
Clean the ceramic glass periodically. Condensation will sometimes form on the glass during a
cold startup. This is normal for all gas replaces and inserts. This condensation often attracts
dust and lint to the surface of the glass. The initial paint curing of the appliance can also leave
a slight lm on the glass. This is a temporary problem.
You should clean the glass after the rst two weeks of use. After that, you should clean the
glass no more than two or three times a season. Use a mild glass cleaner to clean the door.
Do not use abrasive cleaners. They will damage the glass surface.
Visually check pilot and burner ames periodically. Refer to Figure 56 for typical burner ame.
