1. Using the TORX T20 bit remove and discard the three
(3) pressure regulator mounting screws from the old
pressure regulator assembly. (Figure 75)

2. Insure the rubber gasket (D) is properly positioned
and install the new step motor (E) pressure regulator
assembly to the valve using the new screws supplied
with the kit. Tighten the screws securely. (Ref. torque
= 25 in/lb) (Figure 76)
3. Install the identication label (F) supplied with the step-
per motor to the valve body where it can easily be seen.
(Figure 76)
4. Make step motor and mV valve electrical connec-
tions.
5. Regulator conversion complete.
6. Test for Leaks
Pilot Orice Conversion
1. Locate pilot. (Figure 77)
2. Replace pilot orice.

tor assembly. Replace step motor with new conversion step
motor.
3. Remove pilot hood by lifting up. (Figure 78) Do not re-
move snap ring to remove pilot hood. NOTE: It is not
necessary to remove the pilot tube for conversion.
4. Remove pilot orice with Allen wrench. (Figure 79)
5. Install the conversion orice.
6. Reinstall pilot hood. Be sure to align hood with index
tab.
Burner Orice Conversion
1. Remove three (3) 3/8” nuts on bottom side of burner
pan. (Figure 80)
2. Carefully remove ember bed by tilting the right side up
and lifting out toward the right side of the unit. (Figure
80)
