Warning – „Live‟ equipment wear
Personal Protective Equipment
when conducting this test.
Ensure power point is switched on and
using a multimeter on the AC voltage
scale, measure between the 3 pin sockets
on the power point. The following results
should be obtained:
Active to Neutral – 240 Volts AC.
Active to Earth – 240 Volts AC.
Neutral to Earth – 0 Volts.
Warning - Ensure power is
isolated before conducting this
test.
Mark and disconnect wiring from the fan
and using a multimeter on the ohms scale,
measure between the two fan terminals.
The reading should be approximately 12
ohms
