3.7 Adjust the brakes
!
"WARNING: Risk of injury ! Brakes may only be adjusted by your specialist
dealer.
Adjust the brakes according following rules:
1. Install the wheels according § 2.2.
2. Disconnect the brakes by pulling lever

backwards.
3. Loosen the bolts
" so the brake
mechanism can slide over the guide

4. Pull the brake mechanism over the guide
$ to
the desired position.
5. Retighten the bolts ".
6. Check working of the brakes.
7. If necessary repeat the above steps until the
brakes are adjusted well.
3.8 Adjusting of the footrests
3.8.1 Length of the footrests

"CAUTION: Risk of damage ! Avoid that the footrests make any contact with the
ground. Keep a minimum distance from 60 mm (2.36 in.) above the ground.
Adjust the length
of the footrests as follow (in three different positions): (Fig A)
1. Remove the screw

2. Adjust the length of the footrest to a comfortable length.
3. Tighten the screw
!#properly.
3.8.2 Depth of the footplate
Adjust the depth of the footplate as follow (in three different positions):
1. Remove the screws !. (Fig B)
2. Adjust the depth of the footrest to a comfortable position
(Fig A).
Position 1: hole 2 and 4
Position 2: hole 3 and 5
Position 3: hole 4 and 6
3. Tighten the screws properly !. (Fig B)
