Appendix F: CopyDisc Systems with OptiPrinter Pro CD/DVD Printer

This section will provide you with detailed information on how to set up and operate your CopyDisc

4 OptiPrinter Pro Platinum combined duplicator fitted with an OptiPrinter Pro inkjet printer.

Note:

Good quality, inkjet printable discs should be used with the CopyDisc 4 OptiPrinter Pro.

Note:

Your CopyDisc4 OptiPrinter Pro is fitted with a mechanical picker, which enables you to

print right to the centre of full-face printable, inkjet discs.

Box Contents

Carefully remove your CopyDisc duplicator and printer from their shipping cartons and verify that

all parts are present. If there are missing or damaged parts contact Verity Systems or an

authorised partner/reseller immediately to correct any miss-packed or missing parts.

You should find the following:

 Verity Systems CopyDisc duplicator (fitted with 4 DVD drives and printer plate)

 OptiPrinter Pro inkjet printer

 Power Cables x 2 (one for CopyDisc and one for OptiPrinter Pro)

 Printer USB Cable (to attach printer to PC if required)

 Serial Connector Cable and Parallel Cable

 Input Basket and Output Spindle

 Black and Colour Ink cartridges

 Quick Start Guide and CD with user manual, printer drive and test image

 CD Label Designer software

 2 blank inkjet printable CD-Rs

 Warranty Card

 Networking software CDs – if applicable (DiscPilot Client/CD label Designer CD,

PublisherNET Server CD and Nero software CD)

Attaching your Printer and Duplicator

Your CopyDisc4 OptiPrinter Pro will come fitted with the OptiPrinter Pro printer plate. When you

remove the OptiPrinter Pro from its packaging, you will notice that the base of the printer has

location holes, which directly mirror the location pins situated on the printer plate (figure F1).
