EXT Port - Page
The Local Area Network
settings for the device’s EXT
Port can be configured on
the EXT Port page.
DHCP Client:
Selecting DHCP Client will
cause the device to obtain
an IP address from the local
DHCP server.
Static IP:
Selecting Static IP requires
you to assign the IP information for the device manually.
MTU:
The default MTU (maximum transmission unit) is 1500 bytes. If your network supports
Jumbo Frames you can specify larger frame sizes (in the range of 3000-9000) by first
selecting Enable in the MTU Settings dialogue.
Basic Setup - Section
The Time and Date of the device’s internal clock can be set manually or be set auto-
matically from the client computer or using an NTP Server.
