For humans, although LED lamps do not appear to flicker, this is not the case for animals. In low frequencies
(150-200Hz), animals can detect flickering in the light which can result in distress and significantly reduced
egg production in chickens or slower rehabilitation of horses.
Verbatim’s IP65 certified E27 Classic A lamp reports no oscillations when tested at 50μms
indicating that there is no flickering up to 20KHz. This means that animals (as well as humans) do
not perceive any form of flickering from the LED lamp which should encourage them to carry on
with their business as normal with no distraction!
