Install base trim around post at deck surface
before installing railing. Install post cap to
complete assembly.
NOTE: Some railing systems must be installed
before post cap; check railing installation for
more details.

CONCRETE APPLICATION —
FOR USE AS A STRUCTURAL POST

Attach mounting plate to post with provided

"x2½" Phillips head screws (included with post
mounting kit).

Plan out railing installation to determine post
locations.
Mark holes through mounting plate onto concrete
surface (Fig. 1) and follow masonry anchor
manufacturer's installation instructions.
NOTE: Use four

" masonry anchors (sold
separately). Post can be leveled as needed by
using vinyl shims.
