Mother nature and your skylight’s Neat®
glass keep it looking fresh and clean with
just rainfall to rinse away the dirt and debris.
However, if you find that your skylight is
experiencing a buildup of dirt or grime on the
exterior, it may be time to clean your skylight.
INSPECTING YOUR SKYLIGHT
Ensure all debris is removed around your skylight.
Make sure all exposed fasteners are secure and
cladding and flashing is in good condition (i.e.
no excessive wear or scratches). Any damaged
cladding or flashing should be replaced as soon as
it is detected.
Pro Tip: Scratches in the cladding finish can be
fixed with touch up paint available through VELUX
(part # ZOZ 154).
