The directory override allows all shapefiles to be written to a single location, rather than the
default $WOW_DATA_DIR/wow_shapes/<owproj> directory.
To create navigation shapefiles for a single project/survey, use navShape with usage:
navShape owproj survey gtype ?lineinc? ?traceinc? ?shapetype? ?shp?
e.g. navShape SWDEVKIT devnor 3D
Use survey All3D to process all surveys in the project.
An alternative way to create navigation shapefiles is to use the NavShape graphical user
interface, illustrated below. First source the WebApps environment then type NavShape:
prompt> source $OWHOME/WebApps/templates/wow.login
(if C-shell)
prompt> . $OWHOME/WebApps/templates/wow.profile (if Bourne shell)
prompt> NavShape
NavShape may also be launched from the wowgui interface.
Important note: navShapeAll will skip surveys listed in a file named plist.bad in the
directory of execution. This allows the user to rapidly skip any suspect data causing the
process to fail, without needing to attempt to fix the issue.
