Network links: OWSYS and project-level kmz files may also be served dynamically using
a region-based network link. These are in fact produced on the Web server and streamed
to the client, such as Google Earth.
In the examples below, http://wow.oilco.com is an
illustrative main WOW URL (environmental variable WOW_URL in wow.env),
OWLINUX5 is an example OpenWorks instance, and TEAPOT_DOME an example
district:
To see all project outlines, and zoom in to activate a project region:
http://wow.oilco.com/bin/ow2kml.cgi
If in a multi-Oracle-instance environment, instance must be specified:
http://wow.oilco.com/bin/ow2kml.cgi?sid=OWLINUX5
To create a network link for an individual project:
http://wow.oilco.com/bin/ow2kml.cgi?owproj=TEAPOT_DOME
Browser execution: from version 5000.0.0.11, kml files may also be generated and
downloaded directly from WOW, on the OpenWorks Project List and Summary pages.
