INSPECTION

WARNING

Ensure the weapon is cleared before performing these procedures. Failure to follow this warning may

cause injury or death to personnel.

1. Inspect the bedding surface inside the stock for worn or degraded glass from solvents or CLP. If the weapon requires a

glass bedding (skim), recreate the glass bedding using the Marine-tex® compound. Use modeling clay or putty and seal

all holes. Spray the barreled receiver with Mold Release compound before mating it with the stock. Refer to Skim Glass-

ing (WP 0026 00).
