Timer Mode
In timer mode the SC-1 provides a countdown timer. Pressing the minus button will start the
countdown. Once the countdown is started, holding the plus button for 3 seconds will reset the timer,
pressing the minus button will synchronize the timer and pressing the plus button will increment the
countdown by a minute. When the timer expires it resets.
Classic Start Scenario
For a classic dinghy start, start the timer at the 5 minute horn then wait for the 4 minutes horn to
synchronize the timer. If you miss the 4 minute horn synchronize at the 1 minute horn. If you find
that you need to add time to the timer increment the minute as many times as necessary.
