INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the Vello LAE-MFT-FT Auto Lens Adapter - Four Thirds Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera. This adapter allows you to mount a Four Thirds lens to any Panasonic or Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera. With a compatible lens mounted to a Micro Four Thirds camera using this adapter, all automatic functions, such as auto focus and auto exposure, are available and fully operational.
Overview The Vello Auto Four Thirds Lens Adapter can expand the arsenal of lenses for your Micro Four Thirds camera at very low cost. With this adapter, you can mount any Four Thirds lenses you have to any Panasonic or Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera. Just attach the adapter to your Four Thirds lens, then mount the lens and adapter to your Micro Four Thirds camera. All camera functions will operate normally, including auto focus, auto exposure, and touch-screen modes.

Attaching the mount adapter 1. Close the camera’s flash. 2. Turn the camera’s power off. 3. Remove the rear lens cap, camera body cap, and mount adapter caps. 4. Align the inner red dot on the lens adapter with the red dot on the lens.
5. Slowly and carefully insert the lens into the adapter and carefully rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place.
6. Align the red mark on the lens adapter with the red lens attachment mark on the camera and slowly rotate the adapter and lens clockwise until it clicks into place on the camera.
Removing the mount adapter 1. Close the camera’s flash. 2. Turn the camera’s power off. 3. Hold down the lens release button on the camera and rotate the lens and adapter counterclockwise until they come to a stop. Remove from the camera.
4. Hold down the release button on the adapter mount, and remove the lens by rotating it counterclockwise until it comes to a stop. 5. Separate the lens from the adapter mount. 6. Replace the rear lens cap, camera body cap, and mount adapter caps.
One-Year Limited Warranty Vello provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. Vello’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at Vello’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal consumer use.
