Attaching the Grip 1. Ensure that the camera power is turned off, and the grip’s control lock is in the Off position. 2. Inserting the Batteries 1. Turn off the c amer a’s power, and make sure the grip’s control lock switch is in the Off position. 2. Pull the battery compar tment’s latch to the left, and open the compartment door. 8 3. Insert the first battery into slot 1 as shown, until it locks into place. Repeat for slot 2.
