Enjoy the many benefits that a battery grip offers, such as extended shooting time and more control and comfort when shooting in a vertical (portrait) orientation. The Vello BG-C15 is compatible with the Canon T7i and 77D DSLR cameras. It accepts up to two Canon LP-E17 rechargeable batteries and offers an alternate shutter-release button.

Attaching the Grip 1. Ensure that the camera power is turned off. 2. Turn the camera upside down, and open its battery chamber door. Pull gently at a 45° angle until the chamber door detaches. 6 3. Slide the camera battery chamber door into the BG-C15’s chamber door holder for safekeeping.
INTRODUCTION 5. Rotate the locking wheel counterclockwise until it is firmly tightened. 7 6. Connect the shutter release cable from the cable release socket on the battery grip to the remote release port on the camera body. OVERVIEW Insert the BG-C15’s power contacts into the camera’s battery chamber as shown. Make sure to align the camera’s tripod socket with the BG -C15’s mounting screw. ASSEMBLY 4.
Inserting Batteries 1. Twist the battery tray’s lock counterclockwise, and remove the battery tray from the grip. 2. Make sure the contacts for the batteries match the battery slot contacts of either side of the battery tray. 8 3. Insert the battery toward the contac ts, and in between the locking flanges. Push down to lock the battery in place.
INTRODUCTION 5. Insert and lock the battery tray inside the battery grip. 9 When removing the grip, turn off the camera power and remove the batteries. OVERVIEW Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second battery. ASSEMBLY 4.
Removing the Batteries 1. Twist the battery tray lock counterclockwise, and remove the battery tray from the grip. 10 2. Remove either battery by pulling up and lifting it out of the battery tray.
