Mounting 2 Mounting the pressure transmitter in a filled vessel Safety information: When mounting the pressure transmitter, the pressure in the vessel can be max. 2 bar (200 kPa) • Starting point: Vessel is filled, ball valve is closed. • Open the ventilation valve • Insert the pressure transmitter into the opening of the ball valve fitting.
Mounting • Close the ventilation valve • Open the ball valve (position in the illustration: valve open). • Completely insert the pressure transmitter against vessel pressure. • Fasten the pressure transmitter with the flange screws. • Now you can connect the pressure transmitter to power supply and set up the transmitter.
Dismounting 3 Dismounting of pressure transmitter from a filled vessel Safety instruction: When dismounting the pressure transmitter, the pressure in the vessel can be max. 2 bar (200 kPa) • Remove the electrical connection cables • Loosen the flange screws of the pressure transmitter Safety instruction: Before opening the flange screws, make sure that the nuts of the safety pins are mounted.
Dismounting • Now loosen the nuts of the safety pins and pull out the pressure transmitter completely.
