BSB Flow

Output Files

The list of generated files are displayed on the final page of the Base System Builder

Wizard. These files include

x system.mhs: Microprocessor Hardware Specification file consisting of component

instantiations, parameterization, and connections.

x data/system.ucf: Xilinx User Constraints File containing constraints such as timing,

FPGA pin locations, FPGA resource specification, and IO standards.

x etc/fast_runtime.opt: Options file containing default options which will be used by

the Xilinx implementation tools if run from XPS.

x etc/download.cmd: Xilinx download command file which can be used to run iMPACT

(the download tool) in batch mode. This file uses the

iMPACT identify command,

which assumes that the user has installed the necessary data files for all devices on the

JTAG chain on the development board. This file may be modified by the user, if

necessary. Please consult the

iMPACT documentation for more information.
