This guide uses the following conventions:

Monospaced, bold text indicates file names, path
names, directories, or screen text.
[Enter] Square brackets surrounding text represent a key on
the keyboard.
[Ctrl]+[R] A plus sign between keyboard keys indicates that
the keys shown should be pressed at the same time.
auto_action
Italic text indicates environment variables. Titles of
information sources are in italic, and occasionally
italic is used for emphasis in the text. Italics such
as

are used to indicate numeric variables.
A pointing hand indicates a reference to additional
information.
