drives

numbered
normally.
There
are
three
system
files
on
the
CP/M
System
Disk.
MOVC:PM/S,
MOVCPM/D,
and
MOVCPMjM.
'Ihese
files
are
used
to
construct
single,
double,
and
mixed
density
CP/M
operating
systems
respectively.
Single
and
double
density
systems
should
be
used
when
more
TPA
area
is
needed.
The
mixed
density
program
is
approximately
lK
larger
than
the
single
density
or
double
density
programs.

not
try
to
put
a
single
density
CP/M
operating
system
on
a
double
density
disk
or
a mixed
or
double
density
CP/M
operating
system
on
a
single
density
disk.

Format/8
Program
provides

formatting
blank
disks

order

transfer
files
back
and
forth
from

1/4"
to
8"
floppies,
put
a
5
1/4"
disk
controller
into
the
system
2800 and
boot
up
on
the
Dualstor
in
mixed
density.
Drive
numbers
I,
J,
K
and
L
are
then
used
to
refer
to
the
5
1/4"
drives.
Simply
use
PIP
to
transfer
files
back
and
forth.
Remember
that
the
backup
and
format
programs
are
different
for
the
5
1/4"
and
8"
systems.
