Handle). Use the #13 (Cotter Pin) to secure the #15 pin. Bend the ends
of the #13 (Cotter Pin) to secure #10 Pin.
5. Make sure part 11# (Setting Bolt Spring) is on the end of part 10# (Adjusting
Handle).
6. Install the 2 pcs part #2 (Leveling Skid Plates) respectively on the left
& right support of part #22 (Main Push Tube) in order to adjust the height
of plow (see the main diagram for reference).
7. Install the 2 pcs part #2 (Leveling skid plates) respectively on the left
& right end of snow plow, use 2 pcs #3 (nuts 12mm x 1.75mm) to secure them
to the plow and to allow the height of the plow to be adjusted (see the
main diagram for reference).
8. Use 2 of the #4 (Bolt 12mm x 37mm x 1.75mm), 2 of the #5 (Washer 12.7mm
x 49mm x 5mm), and 2 of the #6 (Washer 12.7mm x 36mm x5mm) to connect the
#21 (Swivel Plate) bracket with snow plow. Notice the order of the washers
and tighten (see the main diagram for reference).
9. Install the 2 pcs part #8 (Spring Hook) on the snow plow. See the main
diagram and the final assembly photo for reference. Use 2 pcs part #9 (Spring)
to connect the bracket with snow plow.
10. Note: The 400, 500 and 700 UTV’s use the same mounting plate. However,
the 500 and 700 have built-in nuts welded on the other side of the front
plate.
11. Use 2 pcs #25 (Bolt 10mm x 40mm), 2 pcs #26 (Split Washer 10mm), and
#27 (Washer 10mm) to attach the #23 (Bracket Mounting Plate) to the front
plate of the frame.
12. On the 400 you will have to reach behind the front plate and hold the
nut in place while the mounting bracket is being attached to the UTV. Again
the 500 and 700 have the nuts welded on the other side of the front plate
(see the photos for both).
13. Now it is easy to drive up the snow plow, aligned the snow plow mounting
holes with the holes in the #23 (Bracket Mounting Plate) and use the #24
(Wire Lock Pins) to secure the plow to the Mounting Plate.
