Connecting the Antenna

2.4 Connecting the Antenna
Connect the TR2526+ to the antenna via the N-connector. After connection, the N connector
must be waterproofed with the supplied rubber sealing tape. See “2.6 Water Proofing
Connections” on page 8 for details.
Vecima recommends that the N connector should be tightened to a maximum torque of 15
in/lb. If the antenna’s N connector does not have flats for a torque wrench then we
recommend hand tightening only. The use of excessive torque can cause damage to the
transceiver connectors or internal circuitry.
