1: Introduction
1.4.2 Radio LED
In the following table, RSS is the Radio Signal Strength, in dBm.
Table 2 Radio LED
NOTE: A Radio LED very slow flash flashes once every two seconds. A
slow flash flashes at 1 Hz, 50% duty cycle, or once per second. A
Radio LED fast flash flashes at 4 Hz, 50% duty cycle, or 4 times
per second.
LED State RSS Value
OFF Unit is not operating (no power).
Very Slow
Flash
Unit operational but no radio signal present. Searching for CCU if
in Automatic CCU Discovery, no CCU detected yet.
Slow Flash Receive Threshold < RSS < -80 dBm. Signal may be okay at best,
or very poor at worst.
Fast Flash -80 dBm < RSS < -70 dBm. Signal is good or very good.
ON Solid RSS > -70 dBm. Signal is exceptionally good.
