Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.
Installation Steps
Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box.
1. Assembling the main fixture.
a. Adjust the cord length by means of cord grip(G) and strain relief(F) until the
desired hanging height is met. You may need to cut the excess wire. You will
need at least 9 inches of wire to work with. Prepare wire by stripping 3/4 in.
of insulation from wire ends using wire strippers (not included). See Figure.1.
b. Attach the mounting plate(A) to the outlet box using two mounting screws(C).
2. Connecting the wires.
Make wire connections using the wire connectors(D):
a. The black wire from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.
b. The white wire from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.
c. Loop the supply ground wire around the ground screw on the mounting plate
and tighten it in place. Connect the fixture ground wire to the supply ground
wire using a wire connector(D).
3. Mounting the fixture.
a. Carefully arrange excess wiring and wire connectors (D) within canopy(I) at
top of fixture.
b. Align holes in edge of canopy with holes at ends of mounting plate(A), then
secure with canopy screws(E).
c. Assemble the glass shade(H) with three bolt screws(B).
