Loop
1. Thread two headless screws through the mounting
plate,then secure them with four lock nuts (Two on
each side of the mounting plate). Adjust the length
of the headless screws if necessary.
2. Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box by using
two mounting screws.
3. Carefully secure the upper fixture to the main fixture
by screwing the nipples into the couplings and secure
it with the hex nuts.
4. Secure the loops to the nipples by using the plastic
pads and the plugs.
5. Choose the length of the chains you need. Connect
one end of the chains to the loops by using the loop
locks, then weave the fixture wire and the fixture
grounding wire through one of the chains. Then
connect the other end of the chains with the canopy
loop by using the loop locks.
6. Thread the fixture wire and fixture grounding wire
through one of the canopy loop and the canopy.
7. Pull out the outlet wires and the house grounding wire
from the outlet box. Make wire connections using the
wire nuts:
---The smooth wire (marked) from the fixture to the
black wire from the power source.
---The ridged wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the
white wire from the power source.
---Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting
plate with the green grounding screw. Then
connect it to the house grounding wire with a
wire nut.
Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.
8. Attach the canopy to the mounting plate by inserting
the headless screws, then secure it with the bolt
nuts.
9. Attach the glass shades to the glass holders, and
secure them with the socket rings.
10. Install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at
socket area or packaging for maximum allowed
wattage.
11. Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box.
