1. Thread two screws through the holes of mounting strap, then secure them with four lock nuts (Two

on each side of the mounting strap). See illustration for correct location. Adjust the length of the

screws if necessary.

2. Mark the ceiling where you want to place the mounting strap setting holes. Drill holes in the markers

on the wall, then thread the anchors into the holes.

3. Attach the mounting strap to the wall box by using two mounting screws and secure the drywall

screws through the set holes of the mounting strap into the anchors.

4. Pull out the outlet wires and the house grounding wire from the outlet box. Make wire connections

using the wire nuts:

---The black wire from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.

---The white wire from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.

---Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting strap with the green grounding screw. Then

connect it to the house grounding wire with the wire nut.

Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

5. Attach the pan to the mounting strap by inserting two screws, secure it with two bolt nuts. (See Fig.1)

6. Screw the nipple into the coupling, then secure it with a washer and a hex nut.

7. Install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum allowed

wattage.

8. Attach the glass shade with the open side facing upward and cap to the pan by inserting the nipple,

secure it with a hex nut. Then slide the cover up to the glass shade and secure it with the finial.

9. Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box.
