Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.
Installation Steps
1.Remove the cross bar from the fixture by unscrewing the finial.
2.Hold the cross bar to the outlet box and mark the outermost set holes on the wall surface for drilling. Remove the cross
bar from the outlet box. Drill four set holes. Thread the anchors into the holes, then attach the cross bar to the outlet
box by using two washers and two mounting screws. Secure the four dry wall screws with the four washers through
the set holes into the anchors.
3.Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire connections using wire nuts as follows:
---Connect the hot wire (usually black insulation) from the power source to the black wire from the fixture.
---Connect the neutral wire (usually white insulation) from the power source to the white wire from the fixture.
---Attach the fixture grounding wire (usually green insulation or bare wire) to the mounting plate with the green grounding
screw, or connect to the source grounding wire if available.
Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.
4.Install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum allowed wattage.
5.Attach the fixture onto the cross bar and then tighten it with four finials.
