Error Message Meaning
?0002 External halt (CTRL/P, break, or exter-
nal halt).
CTRL/P
or STOP command.
?0003 Power-up halt. System has powered up, had a system re-
set, or an XMI node reset.
?0004 Interrupt stack not valid during excep-
tion processing.
Interrupt stack pointer contained an in-
valid address.
?0005 Machine check occurred during excep-
tion processing.
A machine check occurred while han-
dling another error condition.
?0006 Halt instruction executed in kernel mode. The CPU executed a Halt instruc-
tion.
?0007 SCB vector bits <1:0> = 11. An interrupt or exception vector in the
System Control Block contained an in-
valid address.
?0008 SCB vector bits <1:0> = 10. An interrupt or exception vector in the
System Control Block contained an in-
valid address.
?000A CHMx executed while on interrupt stack. A change-mode instruction was issued
while executing on the interrupt stack.
?0010 ACV/TNV occurred during machine check
processing.
An access violation or translation-not-
valid error occurred while handling an-
other error condition.
?0011 ACV/TNV occurred during kernel-stack-
not-valid processing.
An access violation or translation-not-
valid error occurred while handling an-
other error condition.
?0012 Machine check occurred during ma-
chine check processing.
A machine check occurred while process-
