5.21 STOP
The STOP command halts a specified XMI (or optional
VAXBI) node. If the target node is a processor, the processor
enters console mode.
Examples
1.
>>> STOP 2 ! Stops the processor at node 2 on the XMI.
2.
>>> STOP E ! Stops the adapter at node E on the
! XMI. If the adapter at node E is a
! DWMBB/A, then all nodes on the
! VAXBI connected through node E are
! also stopped.
3.
>>> STOP/BI:6 E ! Stops the adapter at node 6 on the
! VAXBI accessible through the
! DWMBB/A at node E.
4.
>>> STO/B:6 E ! Same as above command.

Qualifier Meaning
/B[I]:<node> Specifies a VAXBI node. Causes a VAXBI stop of the node at <node>
on the specified VAXBI.
<XMI-node> Specifies an XMI node. Stops the processor or DWMBB/A at the
given node number.
