If vacuuming needs to be paused briefly bring the vacuum cleaner into its vertical locking position. The brushbar switches off automatically to prevent any damage to the carpet (Fig.4/4).

Unlock and remove the dirt container by pushing the carry handle down and away from the machine (Fig.6/2). Fig.6/2 3. After cleaning the brushes, wait for 2 minutes then plug the vacuum cleaner into the wall outlet and press the reset button (Fig.7/2) before pressing the power on/off switch. Maintenance 4.
