8. Release the CPU I/O panel as shown in Figure 2–5. Disconnect the cable
that connects the CPU to the I/O panel, and set the panel aside.

9. Disconnect the CPU module cables.
10. Remove the old CPU module from slot 1.
11. Install the new KA660-AA/BA CPU module in slot 1.
Note
If the VAXserver/MicroVAX 3500/3800 system does not have an internal
DSSI (KFQSA-SA), then go to Section 3.4, steps 12 through 15, for
installing the DSSI handle and terminator, and return to step 18.
