2.2 Self-Test and Additional Power-Up Tests
The self-test diagnostics reside in ROM on the processors
and on most modules. These diagnostics check each module
at power-up, when the system is reset, and during a boot.
Self-test results are written to the console terminal, as
shown in Example 2–1.
