4.15 CPU Replacement in Single CPU Systems
There are two methods available to customize a processor
in a single-processor system. The first uses the RESTORE
command; the second sets the EEPROM by console
command.
4.15.1 Using the RESTORE Command
Use the RESTORE command to customize a replaced CPU in
a single-processor system. Use this method only if the ROM
revision of the spare is the same as the ROM revision of the
CPU being replaced. Before you begin set the terminal baud
rate to 1200.
