3.6.1 Example: Boot the VAX Diagnostic Supervisor
Example 3–1 shows an example of running VAX/DS from the
in-cabinet console load device. You must run VAX/DS in
standalone mode to run EVCXF.
Example 3–1: Running Standalone VAX/DS
>>> BOOT/R5:10 CSA1 ! Enter BOOT command designating the
! CSA1 drive as the input device; /R5:10
! is the boot flag indicating the VAX/DS
