Dirt Container: Maintenance

Emptying the Dirt Container

Cleaning the Cyclone Se parator

When the cyclone sepatator has been cleaned and dried completley, re-attached the dirt container t o the lid of the

separator and return the dirt container to the unit.

IMPORTANT : Always switch off and unplug the

vacuumcleaner from the e lectrical outlet before

removing the Dirt Container.

IMPORTANT : Do NOT use the vacuum without ALL

of the filters in place.

NOTE: Do not use any detergents or boiling water to wash

the filters.

IMPORTANT: Remove the Dirt Container from the

unit and dispose of the dirt inside the container

before cleaning.

IMPORTANT : The cyclone separator should not be

submerged in water.

Vax recommends that the pre- and

post-motor filter should be checked and

cleanedperiodically depending on the

frequency of use andthe volume of dirt

being pickedupon each occasion.

NOTE : Both Pre- and Post- Motor F ilters

can be rinsed in warmwater (max 40°C).

Allow to air dry for 24 hours before

replacing. Do NOT use any detergents or

boiling w ater to wash the filters.

Once completely dry, return the pre-

motor filters and case to the vacuum

cleaner. Replace the pre-motor f

ilter

cover before restarting the vacuum

cleaner.

IMPORTANT: Your vax vacuumcleaner is fitted with highperformance filters it is essential

that these are well maint ained and cleaned according to the following inst ructions.
