5.3.1 Executing Diagnostics for the Load Path
The level 4 diagnostic is loaded from the tape cartridge and executed using the console command
language.
To load the level 4 diagnostic from the tape cartridge, follow the procedures below:
1. Insert the TU58 tape cartridge #7, labeled VAX 11 HARDCORE INSTR, into the TU58 tape
drive

2. In response to the console prompt, »>, type the following commands to load and execute the
level
4 diagnostic EVKAA.EXE:
