Taking care of your machineUsing your machine
After using the steamer, press the power
buttontoswitchOFFandunplugthepower
cord from the mains. Release excess
pressure by depressing the trigger before
opening the water cap. The pressure
indicator within the water tank cap will
indicate all the pressure is released
After allowing the steamer to cool for a minimum of
10minutes,slowlystarttounscrewthewatertank
cap anti-clockwise whilst gently pushing the trigger.
DON’T FULLY UNSCREW THE WATER TANK CAP.
When fully cooled and the pressure has been released,
the water tank cap should turn freely to remove.
Empty any residual water and allow the water tank to
dry. Clean the external surface with a dry cloth
IMPORTANT: Never use bleach or fabric softener when washing the cloths.
1. Wash by hand or machine washable at ‘warm’ temperature. Always use a mild detergent.
2.Allowclothstocompletelydrybeforenextuse.
IMPORTANT: Always unplug and allow the steam cleaner to fully cool down before carrying out any maintenance.
Onlycleantheexternalsurfaceofthesteamcleanerwithaslightlydampcloth.Vaxrecommendsthewatertankis
rinsedoutafter5llingoperations.Vaxrecommendllingthewatertankwithwaterandgivingitagoodshaketo
loosen any limescale that has deposited on the bottom of the water tank. Pour out the water and allow to fully dry
before storing away.
The water tank should be treated with limescale remover approximately every 6 months to prolong the steam
cleaner’slife.Whendescalingthesteamcleanerfollowlimescaleremoverinstructionsfor300mlcapacity(using
max50°Cwater)thenpourawayliquidandrepeatprocessifnecessary,rinsethewatertankandallowtofullydry
before storing away.
