5.10 Changing Date and Time Battery
STEP 1 Remove power from the VAX-C.
STEP 2 If the VAX-C is installed in a rack, remove it and place on bench.
STEP 3 Remove the top cover.
STEP 4 Remove the old battery and insert a new battery with positive side
toward clip.Battery slides out from under the clip. See Figure 5-10 for
battery location.
NOTE:
Dispose of battery properly. Follow applicable local regulations.
STEP 5 Replace the top cover of the VAX-C and remount in transmitter.
Continue on to the next section to set the time and date.
• The Harris part number for the date and time battery is 660005400 (lithium,
3V, CR2032, 20mm).
