BOOT_DEV LENGTH
This field contains the number of bytes in the default boot device name. The
console uses this value to create a descriptor list of the boot device name to be
passed to the APB program and to determine if a default boot device is present.
This field is cleared, if the battery fails to indicate that there is no default boot
device.
