IOCTL ASIC and System Registers
The IOCTL ASIC controls the JUNKIO subsystem by moving data between its
16-bit I/O bus and the TURBOchannel. It provides an I/O read and write path
from the CPU to the JUNKIO devices and a DMA path to memory for those
devices that require it.
Figure 9 shows the IOCTL subsystem. (Table 16 lists the IOCTL address map.)
